About Us
Dynamic Reconstruction and Applied Meta Studio(DREAMS), as one of the Central Research Facilities of HKUST(GZ), provides services and support for research and applications related to Volumetric Video, 3D Reconstruction, VR/AR, etc. Our lab is equipped with a full-stack self-developed light field reconstruction system as well as other development devices, providing advanced equipment support to faculty and students of our university. Simultaneously, it will be open to other universities and industries, becoming one of the first units in China and even worldwide to apply volumetric videos in various fields. It will contribute to the collaborative efforts of education, industry, and research for our university in the Greater Bay Area and on a global scale.
